Atlanta churches, faith leaders ramp up HIV/AIDS outreach

Recent news shows Atlanta’s churches and faith leaders are ramping up their efforts towards HIV prevention.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that churches and faith leaders in Atlanta’s Fulton County are working hard to raise awareness about HIV among their communities.

This includes the Rev. Monte Norwood who is regularly tested with INSTI to encourage his congregation and others to check their status.

With National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day coming up on February 7, church leaders in Atlanta also announced that HIV testing will be available at the megachurch Stonecrest.
