Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the development and delivery of high performing digital campaigns. The person will work cross-functionally and with external vendors and in-house Marketing team to drive the successful deliver of digital marketing campaigns and make recommendations on how to improve or optimize campaigns using audience-based, data-driven strategies and tactics that drive stronger personalization and optimal business results.

Your online marketing efforts are focused on driving brand awareness and lead generation through all the digital channels that are used by the company, including social media, company websites, search engine rankings, email, display advertising and the company’s blog. In essence, you will be responsible for the online presence of the INSTI brand to ensure that our audience has a seamless, positive user experience.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Developing, executing, analyzing and optimizing our digital campaigns to acquire new customers, improving customer retention and lifetime value and meet revenue goals
  • Evaluating all digital channels including search, display, social, and video to determine a media mix that best meets campaign objectives
  • Curate, and manage digital content (images, video and written) and actively develop initiatives to grow our online presence and increase engagement rates
  • Oversee the health and growth of our .COM websites and proactively make recommendations on how to improve both
  • Analyze and report on online performance using Google Analytics, Sprout Social and measure impact of marketing programs to drive continuous improvement
  • Implement SEO initiatives and key processes such as competitive keyword research and expansion, keyword targets, content optimization, page & keyword selection strategy

WHAT YOU BRING:

You are a customer-focused, pro-active thinker who is passionate about creating customer experiences to drive brand loyalty, growth opportunities and educating nay-sayers.

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • 2+ years of experience in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns
  • 2+ years in digital marketing or paid media experience
  • Confident, engaging written and oral communication skills, with superior accuracy
  • Experience with social media communications and an expert of all things social
  • Customer-focused, detail-oriented, team player who takes initiative and thrives in managing multiple channels and determining priorities on the fly based on urgency and time
  • Understanding of SEO principles and content optimization
  • Data Driven Marketer fluent in Analytics on Google Analytics and Sprout Social
  • Design-minded with operating knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop Illustrator) is an asset
  • Comfortable working with and confidently talking about sexual health, sexually transmitted infections, STI prevention methods, condoms, sex toys, lubricants, etc.
  • Open and love-all attitude. If you don’t have awareness of or aren’t a member of the LGBTTTQQIAA community, then you have an openness and willingness to learn
